I'm Diogo Cunha and work in my studio, Stereo Studios, in Trancoso, Portugal, i do mixing and video edition.

I work with artists from Fado until Rock, essentially i do mixing and video editing, sometimes also production and recording.

Interview with Stereo Studios - Diogo Cunha

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I play guitar since 12 years old, and from age of 17 for about four years played in bands, during that same time also started doing live sound and recording some things ultimately make 2 singles with a band of originals I was guitarist. after that I started working with more people in live productions in Singles and Albums.

  3. Q: How would you describe your style?

  4. A: think my style is aggressive and clear.

  5. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  6. A: I would like to working with artists who have passion and dedication for music, regardless of who they are. But if I had to choose somebody I liked working with the Foo Fighters because it's a band I really like and have passion for music.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Make artist feel comfortable and be supportive

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: i really don't have that much stuff, because i mix all in the box. I have a Profire 2626 and Focusrite Saffire interfaces, my main monitors are the Yamaha HS5 and i also use some AKG and Shure headphones. I work with Adobe Audition and Cubase for DAW, i use some free plugins and Waves plugins. My PC it's a Intel i7 6ª generations with a lot of Ram and storage.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: Some friends who put me in the music business, and also some professionals which I admire your work such as Chris Lord-Alge, Warren Huart, Butch Vig, Tony Maserati, Glenn Fricker, etc.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: The most common work I do is mix Singles, Albums and Ep. Sometimes I also do production.
