Josh is one of the best songwriters and vocalists I've worked here on SB. He's communicative, professional, quick and – most importantly – a super talented musician who writes first-class music.

Josh is extremely talented and efficient. He took a simple idea I had and turned it into something amazing. Can't recommend him enough for your next project.
AONEA has that sauce!
I work with Josh regularly, helping record songs for him. His vocal and guitar skills are top notch, and he always brings great ideas to the table. Professional and timely, he'd be a great addition to any project. Easy to work with and communicative; would recommend to anyone looking for a male vocalist or guitarist.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything pop, singer-songwriter or even hip-hop (I can write and sing hooks for rap songs)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a unique and sort of raspy "modern pop" voice. I feel the emotions of what I'm singing and I think that comes across in my recordings.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pooh Bear stays inspiring me with his writing and producing ability.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do Top lining and vocals for producers who have written songs.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Very proud of everything I've put out but I was working with an artist named Justin Lloyd and we developed a sound for him that is very cool. I was a writer and the guitar player for that whole project.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because of convenience and the technology has advanced so far that most people couldn't tell the difference anyway.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: 100% satisfaction
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love singing and writing, there's no better feeling than when I write something I'm excited about.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Chsr
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: If they a specific vision for what the song is about. If not I will go with what I'm feeling.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I come from a rock/alternative background and I bring that energy to pop music.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Ed Sheeran because he's the goat when it comes to songwriting in my opinion.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Parallel Compression is your friend!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I will bring LIFE to your song
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an imac with an apollo interface, a Neve 511 Pre-amp, an Sm7b, Slate Digital VMS ML-1 Modeling mic
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic, electric, mic, apollo, laptop
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I'm writing to a track I listen a couple times through to get the vibe and usually that will inspire the topic I'll write about. I often pull from my personal experiences with anything I write but I'm not limited to that. I usually work out the melodies before lyrics but every song is different.
