I’m an Atlanta-based engineer and mixer with over a decade of experience in the music industry. In that time, I have worked in recording studios, composed for film projects, and toured the U.S. and Europe as a signed recording artist/songwriter. The bulk of my work has been mixing for bands with distorted guitars and big drum sounds.

My interest in audio started when I was just a teenager wanting to learn how to record my own band. I sought out multiple internships and had the fortune of landing one at Southern Tracks in Atlanta, GA where I had the opportunity to learn from legendary engineers and recording artists, as well as earn my first album credits assisting on albums for Mastodon, Sugarland, Cut Copy, and more. The studio eventually closed, but I’ve been freelancing as an engineer and mixer ever since.

I love contributing to anything creative and hope to elevate everything I get to work on. I’ve worked on a huge range of releases, from big to small, self to label funded, metal to jazz, and everything in between. If you’re passionate about your project, I would love to be a part of it.

CJ was super professional, communicated great, and was timely about all deliverables and revisions.

I 100% sent him in the wrong direction at first by being too vague, and in the revision process, he tightened the mix up so well. CJ is great with references, so if you have an idea of "I like how this song sounds" you'll definitely work well with him.

He EQ'd our guitars beautifully from step 1, and I know that's such a fussy mix element. Very pleased.

Highly recommend CJ! He breathed new life into some old recordings of mine that I wouldn't have thought possible. Turnarounds were fast with real attention to detail, musicality and an understanding of how to mix heavy guitars that can be difficult to come by. CJ's been very accommodating to revisions but to be honest not many were needed as things generally sound great off the bat! Looking forward to working with him again in the future!
