I Make Records

I've been making records for over 20 years. I focus on what the artist wants and what the song needs. I love to experiment and create sounds that are truly original, while still respecting the pop guidelines when it comes to songwriting and arrangement. I work out of Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, GA. I strive for greatness. I always over-deliver.

Production:
Full-scale production includes my mix + mix versions, I outsource to different studios for live drums depending on vibe. Everything else is tracked at my studio. Production has no time limit, we just work until we get it done (within reason). I can work with any timeline.

Mixing:
Mixing includes alt versions (instrumental, vocal up, vocal down, acapella). I prefer to get the mix to a final version within 3-4 recalls, but usually get there on the first or second pass.

Guitar:
You send me your song, I'll send you back guitar stems (DI + amp / effects). I can play whatever you're looking for, or I can vibe out on it and send you a smorgasbord of ideas, or a mixture of both.

Engineering:
I can dial up a great drum sound for your record. Track vocals? Got you. Guitars? All day.

Editing:
I can be assisting in many different ways including drum editing, vocal tuning, vocal alignment, etc. Send me a direct message to see what these rates are.
