Interview with ARIA
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I work on major placements writing and producing. Besides that I still work for different labels like Sony, Warner, Interscope, etc. engineering for their artists.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both of them have their pros and cons. I consider them both important and essential depending on the sound you are looking to get at the end.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I won't stop working until you are fully satisfied and love the result.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making my clients happy. I always leave a good impression cause that's the main reason of why I do music. I love to see my client's reaction after all the work. Making their vision come to life feels amazing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I do a lot or Trap, Hip hop, Pop and latin stuff.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my own perspective and sound. When I work on a song, my goal is making the song feel "alive". I want the listener to be able to hear a whole story out of my mix, not a flat mix that won't make you feel anything.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually take less than a week to mix, write or record or produce a song. For each thing I'll always ask for a reference song so I know what type of sound you are looking for. After that, I'll do my job and then send it over. Once you listen to it, you can totally send me some notes on what you'd like to change and after that we are all good!
