Producer Tomas Raae has for many years been working with top artists on the Danish music scene as a musician, arranger and producer. Among them Alberte Winding, Rosa Lux & Sara Grabow. On a day to day basis Tomas Raae is composer and producer for in music, film and theater – and partly as a working musician.

The music presents a strong emphasis on sound and sonic semiotic meaning within the context of a clear lyrical expression based in a strong interest in relations, existentialism, and modern music history.

Furthermore, Tomas Raae is the architect behind the band - The Malibu Beach Band. It is a collective of acclaimed, innovative and idiosyncratic musicians working for creating a unique, moving and smouldering ambient indie music.

I've worked with Tomas Raae on several theatre productions.Tomas can create a great soundscape, compose a theme for the production or a melody for the most tricky text written by a play write. He can write beautiful lyrics that melts into the production or he can write a song that will inspire.Tomas is a great collaborator.He is good at understanding a concept. He listens to the director and contributes as an artist. He has good ideas and he knows when to share and when not to. He is good with actors; patient, calm and clear. He can also be quite brutal and and honest which makes him reliable.

Tomas Raae has quite a range: He is able to play bass solos so advanced that I get lost, and he can create music so simple for everyone to understand. He did composing, recording and producing songs. He has a lot of good ideas and is very creative and dynamic in his work. Tomas is searching for the core of the song and what’s important regarding the song you are working with.

Tomas has a vivid creative know-how and is a very skilled musician and producer. He has produced a lot of material with me and the song "1981" is a great example of his distinct cinematic sound. Also, Tomas is very pleasant to work with.

As a creative producer of a large number of films in the advertising industry, I can highly recommend Tomas’ work.
His compositions has a great variation and it is very pleasing to get affordable tracks with personality and edge - instead of the stock market, which can be very monoton.
