I love the challenge of writing a song in a new way!
That could be anything from:
- interesting and engaging chord changes
- a killer hook and chorus
- writing in a new style
- writing smart sophisticated lyrics about something unique
- an amazing production which is in mind from the start (even if I start writing on my acoustic)
For my production I have developed some go-to processes I love and that work great:
- Creating layered synths, bass, piano, & other midi parts primarily with the one and only Omnisphere!
- Creating sophisticated highly custom-made beats by first finding the perfect percussive sounds (kick, snare, hats, claps, snaps, and much more), and then creating unique and changing rhythms
- Sample search and placement: I have developed an ear for finding the perfect samples to fit in a song. Often this involves using melodyne to custom tune parts or change the bpm.
- Creating a flawless lead vocal and sophisticated harmonies along with vocal effects, everything perfectly tuned with care
- creating acoustic guitar that brings everything together

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! At the end of the day the listener hears a piece of music and is probably not thinking if it is analog or digital but if it sounds good and if they like the song! I say whatever the tools are they are good if it sounds good!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to give my all on every project and to make sure we make the best music that we can! At the end of the day you are hiring me to make your music the best it can be and I will stop at nothing until that is achieved!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you goals with this project? Do you have any references, ideas, or anything else you think would come in handy to draw inspiration from?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My acoustic guitar, my supercharged 64gb ram computer with logic ready to go, uad apollo twin, minilogue xd, and a solar charging power station to power my rig (might need some future technology to support how much power my rig uses haha)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started writing songs when I was 13! I got so good at guitar hero and graduated to a real guitar and was quickly writing tons of songs. Fast forward to high school when I recorded my first EP in a professional studio. The fast forward to college and after when I continued studying music and began building my professional home studio

A: Ah so many come to mind...
