I am a professional studio singer and have worked as a Pop/R&B vocalist for many years. If you need a singer for your tracks, need ideas for vocal arrangements or simply need a "demo singer", I am on board! I am also a songwriter. You can listen to some of my work on Spotify as "DEVADO" and "H.I.S.E."
DEVADO is the alias of Munich-based singer Debby van Dooren. Being a so called "DIY artist", the German-American writes, records and produces all her songs in her own basement home studio.
She wrote her first song at the age of eight and has been working as a singer and songwriter ever since.
Aside from her own project, DEVADO has worked for numerous companies (e.g. Disney), DJs, producers and songwriters, giving the production that extra sparkle and professional sound.
DEVADO´s voice has been compared to Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora and Camila Cabello.
A modern mixture of Pop and R&B depending on the production.

A: I am working on my next releases and am also writing with a lot of other producers and songwriters.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Unfortunately not.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I work for free ; )
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Upbeat tracks. Mostly urban sounding tracks, but also very poppy (Katy Perry style) ones depending on the production and target audience. I have also written and recorded vocals to DJ tracks.
