Best engineer on SoundBetter. 5 stars every time.
Best engineer I’ve ever worked with.
Linked back up with Draco and it didn't disappoint, Draco understands your vision and will help you enhance it further and further. He's very sharp with his production and can give an ordinary track a massive amount of potential!!
At this point, if you are not working with Draco you are really missing out. He is by far one of the only engineers I have ever worked with that is incredibly skilled at his craft. Draco is so consistent with his engineering abilities, he always turns my vision into a reality. 5 stars every time.
Draco mixed and mastered my first ever project and it came out incredibly well! As always, I HIGHLY recommend you working with Draco as he is easily the most talented engineer on this platform!!!
Quality came out fire, like how I envisioned in my head. Well worth the price, if you're looking for quality mixing that can rival what's being released by top artists this is your guy
Draco is the best engineer I have ever worked with. I have worked with 5+ different engineers over the past 6 years and he is by far the hardest worker, and skillful engineer I've worked with! 5 stars every time, do yourself a favor and work with him!!!!!!!!
Thank you again for making my vision turn into a reality. Not only does Draco give me what I ask for every time but he somehow finds a way to shock me by going above and beyond. I was hesitant about this song because I wasn’t sure if it would sound the same as it did in my head… Fortunately, this website has Draco Mansion.
the amount of work and attention to detail draco puts into every project is matched by the level of raw talent he has. he helps you realize and create a unique sound that becomes your own while taking your music to the next level. if you have an idea of what you want to be executed he can make it happen.
Extremely professional and always willing to listen and revise. Created the perfect mix/master for my song doing exactly what I asked. Will most likely work with again :)
Draco is the first engineer to ever work with me on a project, he will ask you for your ideals and work together 1 on 1 with you and I loved that. He doesn't make it strictly business, he makes you feel like you're there in the studio and I've never gotten that experience with anyone else. I highly recommend him, and you won't regret it.
Draco is really patient and understanding when it comes to working with any project, definitely consistent when it comes down to effort. Communication and reassurance is there 100%

Interview with Draco Mansion
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I can get any track to sit right at its max potential provided clean high fidelity stems and open dialogue from you about the vision for your sound.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: New generation rap
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Passion, Precision, Communication
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I am relentless in carving out the max potential of your creative sound with every single one of my artists
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: "You cannot un-bake a cake once it has been baked" -- It is my job as an engineering to put the icing and flavor (mix & master) on the top of the cake (vocal stem files) so if this cake was burned in the oven beforehand (ie: the quality of your recordings), then there is little I can do to make the cake edible before it is served to your fanbase.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Send a WAV / mp3 demo clip of the song in the initial inquiry so I can formulate the effective mix perspective beforehand Who are your biggest influences behind your artistry?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi, Gothboiclique, Contemporary Rap (ie: the new generation sound)
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Bounce all of your stems out with the correct / exact time and positioning of each vocal section against the instrumental as per when you recorded it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy, drive, presence, tone, character, environment, warmth
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Download stems, put original track mix on playback in the car, mix then master, send back WAV / MP3 of final mix & master via SoundBetter thread
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The majority of my current vocal engineering work involves a ton of Emo Rap (GBC) and The Kid Laroi type of mixdowns and masters. I also have been working with a bunch of British rappers and singers from the UK too.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Noah "40" Shebib (Drake, OVO Sound, etc.) and Leslie Brathwaite (Cardi B, Lil Uzi Vert, Pharrell) are great production inspirations to me. As far as artists go, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Young Thug and T Pain are awesome vocal mix refs too. Discussing production inspirations first, Noah's mixes are super smooth yet push a great deal of weight forward. "Mob Ties" is a great example of this. I use that song as a reference track when mixing & mastering because it brings together opposing, different layers of sound in an effective way without losing any of Drake's vocal energy or the track's bounce. I love his proven mentality too. Through each new release, you can tell that he never ceases experimenting and learning new studio techniques. He's also is not afraid to break the rules in cases where he knows he can achieve more effective results if he does. Noah's downsampling technique to degrade samples into that classic OVO low passed fuzz texture is brilliant too because you are bypassing using multiple plugins with one simple stroke to create massive success. I also am a big fan of Leslie Brathwaite. I think he/she gets it. Leslie's behind several of Lil Uzi, Cardi B, Pharell, records as well as the careers of many other household name artists. He always knows how to blend the best vocal takes with what instrumentals their producers created to radio ready and broad commercial audience guidelines. I also appreciate his how humble and versatile he stays in the mixing process too. Leslie sets the standard that all other mixing & mastering should follow, ie: let the artist shine, push the artist vision to its max potential and know how to use your tools to accommodate any artist's sonic needs. On the artist side, Beyoncé packs so much ferocity into her voice without losing any level of pitch or health. Her vocal technique allows her to be a solid stage performer and a unique vocalist. Through this method, you can see how she can both dance and hit every note on point on stage at the same time without losing any breath. Cardi B exemplifies the perfect definition of a proper power / diction dynamic when directly recording female vocalist top lines. Young Thug has done so much for creative modern vocal techniques. Besides being a top influence to a vast majority of contemporary rap artists, Thugger has shown how the voice can be used as an instrument and be manipulated into a variety of background textures. T Pain's legacy also plays a big influence on me because of the prominent demand for auto tune in much of my clients' music. Unknown to most, T Pain is actually a phenomenal singer and uses auto-tune not as a correction tool but rather for a carefully controlled aesthetic. It is important to remember the delicacy of vocals when mixing. If the vocals were not sung or recorded correctly in the sent take, then the mixing potential falls apart and little can be done to correct the issue.
