Hi, I’m Aris. I love playing and recording guitar and I have been doing exactly that for over 20 years. I want to serve your goals and offer you my experience. I have tracked guitar for a platinum single from the greek hip hop band Imiskoumbria and I had my band's song featured in Classic Rock's magazine compilation CD of Best New Bands.

Interview with Aris K.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently I record and produce my band's new album.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I have a great experience in rock & metal but I also have experience with Indie pop, songwirters etc.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I know how to follow song forms from a guitarist's perspective. I will add guitar layers that will elevate each part of the song adding more energy.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record guitars, arrange and write songs for rock genre mostly but I have recorded guitars for hip hop artists as well.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will follow their vision and deliver in time what they asked for.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creative playing and adding unconventional sound textures. Make every guitar part unique
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Just an acoustic guitar.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing with bands I've put together since the early days I got myself into music. I've gigged many years in live clubs as a live session guitarist. I've done guitar recordings for more than 20 albums. I also have toured European countries with my band supporting the famous metal band Blitzkrieg
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I always double track my rhythm guitars to achieve better stereo imaging
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I commit to your vision and serve entirely your goals for your songs
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I will go through the form of the songs and break it down to distinctive parts. I will take a close look of the arrangement and then I will record guitars for each section.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a Gibson Flying V, a Fender Jazzmaster, a Fender Stratocaster which can cover a lot of sounds needed for the rock genre.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Pink Floyd. My favourite bands and guitar players.
