Interview with Player2

  1. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  2. A: Audien, Haywyre, Madeon, Porter Robinson

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: DJing since 2012. Producing since 2016.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Less is more! 99% of the time there's too many elements in a musician's track. Too many overlapping synths & percussion will make your overall mix muddy & unclear what the focal point should be.

  7. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  8. A: Mastering: Upgrade your finished WAV track to industry-standard loudness. Recommended max loudness pre-mastering is -6 RMS. Mixing: Acquire exported track stems from your project & fine-tune each track (EQing, panning/phasing, compression, harmonic saturation, reverb/delay, etc...) to maximize quality.
