I gained experience while being producer/mix engineer for Post Animal, and other artists in the Chicago/Midwest area. I have evolved into an eclectic style, blending classic sounds with modern processes to taste - often complimented on the depth and live energy of my mixes. Always down to insert myself but I know how to be transparent!
I am a mix engineer/producer, based in Chicago, IL. Most of my work has been with rock/pop-oriented bands; however, my approach is heavily-informed by an early dive into electronic music and a hybrid-workflow of analog and computer-based methods. I specialize in a heavier, pop-adjacent sound and approach ambient and dynamic effects in a very nuanced and climactic way.
My experience in various fidelity has equipped me with the tools and tricks to make any recording shine. Obsessing over production at an early age has compiled endless sounds and processes for me to share with you. If you need it - we can replace drums, layer sounds, build a tone from DI, touch-up vocals, quantize and everything in between. As an artist myself, I know that creativity is first and the best takes aren't always in the most traditional environments; so go ahead and hit record wherever/whenever you can and we will paint it up just like you pictured.
If it all clicked for you in the studio, amazing! Send the session/multitracks/stems with some references and we're good to go. I have all the tools we need to finish the job.
