Working with VC was a super quick and easy process, who delivered a top quality mix and master to give my track that professional sound. He was really receptive to any tweaks I wanted to get the exact sound I was after. Will definitely be working with him again in the future.

VC was extremely professional to work with and provided great vocals in a really short period of time. The notes I provided where followed with precision and the outcome was exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to working together again in the future.

This guy is not only kool but very talented and a triple threat (singer/rapper/engineer). Very creative and gives all he got to each song. Hire this man before the secret is out and he gets too busy for us regular folk. :)

Another solid job by VC. He's my go to guy when I'm looking for that pro sound.

Second job and second time he nailed it first time. I'm VERY picky and I NEED my ideas to be the way I have it in my head, VC takes my ideas and routinely exceeds even my own picky nature. If you aren't using this man you're song isn't finished yet. Even more he's a great guy, highly recommend.

VC has a very cool voice -- smooth and was very willing to work on the song with me (I can be a bit picky). Highly recommend him for your next project.
Very great experience wouldn't pass on an opportunity to work with this gifted artist(production & mixing)
VC has proven time and time again to be passionate, involved, and hardworking when it comes to every project I have worked on with him, including countless original songs and collaborative pieces. His mixing and mastering brings my music to life. Even when I am at a loss for words as to how I want my mix to sound, he always manages to breathe creative soul into my projects. He is easy to work with and a very good communicator, making every dollar worth it. My creative process is not complete without VC. :)
Interview with VC
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Other than continuously engineering and producing for others, my big piece of work is a mixtape to wrap up this year.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Kora - Great vocalist, poetic songwriting.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I'm confined to hip=hop when I spend a lot of time as a creator and fan of Pop and RnB mastering my writing/performing, production, and engineering in those genres.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style varies depending on the emotion of the song. Vocally I'm very consistent with a higher pitched raspy voice that definitely stands out and can switch between melodic vocals and more straight-forward rap. I don't like to limit myself songwriting wise so it van go from fun party anthems to introspective lyrical pieces.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Who are you as an artist? What is your "brand/message"? (also whats the key and bpm lmao)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Ariana Grande. In a production sense, her songs would give me so much creative exercise to work with. Vocally, I imagine a singer-rapper collab to create a fresh dynamic considering the dichotomy of our vocal performance sounds.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One music production tip - Don't overdo it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Hip-Hop, RnB, and Pop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is songwriting.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Production-wise, I bring a very clean and consistent sound to a song while finding ways to further an artist's message in ways they might've not imagined. Songwriting-wise: I bring the ability to match the exact weight needed to emphasize the message, ranging from the ability to write pop songs from any perspective to writing introspective personal lyrical pieces from the lens of somebody completely foreign to me. Vocally: I provide a completely different type of sound that shifts from raspy to smooth, and melodic to static, instantly.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process starts with getting in an emotional headspace that matches that of the track or goal of the artist per se. And then finding the areas which need work, whether it be through instrumentation or mixing, to get closer to that artistic vision. After identifying points, I usually weave my way through the track each new listen hearing the message of the artist unfold with sometimes subtle, sometimes major shifts in sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Other musicians that inspire me are J. Cole, Tyler The Creator, too many to count honestly. Finneas inspires me as a producer, especially when combining technical skill and chemistry with Billie to create such amazing tracks every time.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do for clients is full-body production. This includes beat production to recording, mixing, and mastering.
