Each piece of music that comes through our studio is carefully mastered based on it's individual characteristics. We never use presets and guarantee the same level of quality you would expect from a facility that would cost you hundreds of dollars more. We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Because we are so confident in our engineering abilities, we are open to unlimited revisions. We use the most advanced processing out there to deliver an analog-like sound. You will notice that your music will carry more punch, sheen, clarity and drive; and that your songs have been assembled to sound like one coherent project, not just a collection of individual sounds. We also do album art customization and creation, as well as music distribution among other services that we can include in your package. Alright I’m going to be real, mastering is one of the most complex and crucial parts of any track. As an artist, you get really excited about a track you created on your DAW, you have the mix down nice and perfect with 6db of headroom and everything. Then you go into the unknown and try to master it on your own (if you’re an amateur sound engineer like me) or you use some bot software on the internet. With Tech Avenue the stress and anxiety gets taken away. Your track is in good hands with people who know the culture and know the music. I’ve loved each time working with them.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital - Analog mastering is the process of using analog equipment to process a signal to prepare it for distribution; digital mastering is the process of using solely digital processors and software to process a signal and for the same reason. There's a common misconception that "analog is better". This is not always the case, and even analog processing comes with its own set of drawbacks. We've found that digital processing allows for the most freedom and quickest turnarounds, while maintaining a high level of quality in the final mix.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: As a general rule of thumb, it's best to leave your mastering engineer with ample headroom in your mix so that the track doesn't sound "squashed" after processing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Tech House, House, Techno. But as a hobby, we also dabble in Lo-Fi, Underground Hip Hop, etc.

A: We do all of our mixing and mastering in Ableton Live Suite 10.

A: Our studio has access to only the best suite of mixing and mastering plugins that we've collected over the years. Everything from UAD, to Slate Digital, Waves, iZotope, and everything in between!

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Founded in September 2019, Peter Elmeri (aka Stu) started Tech Avenue with the purpose of providing up and coming Techno and Tech House artists with a platform to be heard. Being a new producer himself, he learned first hand the biggest difficulties that presented themselves throughout the music creation process. Sound engineering, marketing, and distribution were among the few hurdles to navigate through.
