Jake is an established London-based Film composer, having worked with RADA, WFA, and as a freelance on trailers, TV, commercials, and video games.
Jake Lockley is an established composer and musician who specialises in film music, music for media, and video game music.
His film music combines elements of orchestral, acoustic, electronic and synthesised genres to create imaginative and diverse soundscapes that blend seamlessly into feel and emotion on the screen.
His passion is telling a story through music. Using melodic, harmonic and textural devices, he constructs an evocative, organic and colourful composition, and is often commissioned for his ability to translate emotion from the screen to sound. Jake is originally from South Devon, in the South-west of England, and studied to a Masters degree level at Cardiff University. Jake currently lives and works in North London
