    Hola soy Chendi ou, un artista de genero urbano que conoce a Felipe hace dos años. Estoy muy feliz de conocerlo y poder trabajar con el. Es una gran persona y un excelente productor musocal. Acabamos de lanzar una canción tropical con la que estamos rompiendo. Felipe hizo parte de la producción y mezcla, y estoy muy satisfecho con su trabajo, los invito a escucharla y compartirla, la pueden encontrar en youtube como Fiesta Latina- Chendi Ou.     I've work with Felipe with different projects throuout some years now and I can recommend him without any doubt.
    His high degree of musicality helps to understand and develop the ideas that the artist has.

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: My music as a singer songwriter!

  3. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  4. A: Yeah! Camilo Silva (Mastering) => genious!

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Both, in this Era, digital is necesary, but analog sound beautifull. So ... both, I think the union make us stronger.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: We will working hard and have a ton of fun in the process. So when we have done, you will be vary happy about not only the product, but the experience itself.

  10. A: The people I meet.

  14. A: I do a lot of stuff so, people dont have present all the things that I work it on.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Look into someone that make you feel, security and excitement.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Audio interface, wahtever, but I love Universal audio and apogee. Mic of course, could be an sm57 Computer. and some kind of energy power to do all the things!

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: When I was 13 years old, I grab my first guitar, and until then. I was on bands, making music, singer, piano and other stuffs, I learn music production in the university, and from now on, I work on all of this!

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Simple and creative.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Trent Reznor for sure. Is my favorite artist, I think he is very honest about who he is and the music is such a piece!. great details, great experimentation and a lot of knowledge!

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: If you want to capture a great voice performance from your artist, spend some time knowing how he/she will be more confortable, Sometimes, the artist dont feel the excitement in trought headphones but in the control room. So is up to you inspire the artist and adapt to the situation for having great results.

  29. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  30. A: Creativity, I love to explore and try to have a great time creating, recording with the artist.

  31. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  32. A: Honesty, transparent feeling of the artist.

  33. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  34. A: Echoes In Ears was my first band and I was the producer and mixing engineer. I`m very proud of the work with that band because I learn a lot. We try to experiment with the sounds, the ways to record things and I grow up thanks to that. A lot of people love the finished work because the truly and organic sound that the band have.

  35. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  36. A: Rock, Pop, Folk (Acustic stuff), Urban.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Usually I like to talk first with the client to understand what he wants and see if I can help with that and how we can aclomplish that. Depends on that, I create a workflow plan that works for the time, cost and confort for the client. If the plan works for all the parts is time to make the job always searching the best results for the client.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My home studio cares with an Imac thats runs Logic, Ableton and Pro Tools. Work with an interface Focusrite Pro 40. Monitors Tannoy Reveal 4 / Headphones Beyerdynamic DTX910 For mics work with Blue Spark SL, Sennheiser e835, AT Pro 60, Behringer C-2, SM57, SM 7B. I use this mics and other dynamic mics because I travel a lot for recording bands so I travel with almost all that gear.
