Harpist

Meet Iona Duncan, the former principal player of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Available for recordings and compositions, Iona is excited at the prospect of Sound better !

Current a student at London's Trinity Laban Conservetoire, Iona has had a thriving early career as a professional harpist. Growing up, she studied at the BRIT school, here she learnt a lot about production and recording.
Later playing with the BYSO and tour the Handel harp Concerto internationally, Iona went on to gain 2 years playing in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
Winning the Bromley Norman Trotman prize, Iona went on to excel in her musical studies, recieveing 3 marks from a perfect performance in her ARSM diploma in piano playing. Iona received places from all of the London music conservatories.
Professionally, Iona has played two London runs of shows, The 'LMTO Christmas Carol' at the Lyceum Theatre, as well as 'Ragtime The Musical, in London's Bridewell. Iona was the resident harpist during the 2019 Christmas season at the Royal Horseguards Hotel and regularly plays for afternoon tea at the Sofitel Hotel St. James.
