I approach mixing from a emotional performance based perspective. I find the story in the song and help bring that out in the listeners experience.

Started Cello at age 3, grew up playing in chamber groups and solo performances. Fell in love with guitar at 12 and started playing in rock bands as well. Went on to sound engineering school (OIART) and working in studios out of Boston and NYC. Been a sound engineer for 15+ years.

Toured all over the world with my rock band Bone Gunn.

I play cello, guitar, bass (stand up and bass guitar) Piano, synthesizers, and the bodhran.

I am also obsessed with sound design in general, probably spend way to much time programing new sounds in Max MSP and modular set ups.
