I'm an all-around Audio Engineer, most of the times I'm the producer, recording, mixing and mastering engineer of the project I'm working on.

My studio is called LOOCA MUSIC and it's located in Milan. I make private and public streaming sessions, but if you live nearby, I'll be glad to have you beside me while I'll work on your music.

I'll do my best to offer the widest preview possible in the attached audio player below just to give you an example of what I do best.

His mixes and masters are great, he mixed and mastered for me one electro house track. I got the sound I wanted, the result is perfect. He respected the deadline, even if I had only two weeks for the finished track.

In my music career I've met a lot of music producers and sound engineers but I've never found a professionist who works better than Luca. For this reason I will record my new official album to his studio and I'm sure that a lot of other people will make the same thing cuz he's a warranty!

Interview with Luca Saliu

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Everything that I listen to inspires me, in a good or a bad way. I'm not the kind of guy who gets too attached to someone and put him on a pedestal.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know what you want, but at the same time be open minded to what an experienced technician could bring to your project.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm probably the old school audio engineer's worst nightmare. I'm definitely digitally oriented, since there are some many great things you can do today with DAW's and Plug-Ins. I prefer to focus my hardware resources on good monitors and audio interface, a linear acustic environment and top of the line digital plugins.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Everyone who could make me grow, in terms of knowledge.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: "Digital" doesn't mean "Amateur". Let your ears be the judge.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It doesn't matter WHAT you use, but HOW you use it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually I work with rappers, singers (sometimes they're both) and producers. Hip Hop, Edm, Pop, ecc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I strive all the time to make my last work my best work.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I want the song to stand out, sometimes it means to get it huge and loud, sometimes it has to be warm and comfortable.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It really depends on the project. I tend to start clean and ordered and to keep it smart and simple throughout the whole chain, even if sometimes it gets complicated.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My carrer started as a Beatmaker for local artists in the early 2000's, since then I kept developing my skills artistically and technically. I'm an all-around audio engineer, most of the times I compose and arrange the instrumental, record the vocals, edit mix and master the song.
