Daniel Lerner on SoundBetter

If you're looking for a clean and creative approach to your song's production; a dynamic, complex and tasteful guitar performance; a pop/rock/R&B/folk songwriter to collaborate with, let's get in touch!

Singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Daniel Lerner was born & raised in New York City, where he connected with musicians throughout the DIY scene. Working as a guitarist for bands and artists – from alternative rock outfit The Step Dads to rapper Freaky Pat – helped solidify Daniel’s blend of sounds and styles. Daniel’s music combines guitar-driven indie rock/pop, smooth R&B grooves and introspective songwriting.

Daniel finds himself just as comfortable on the stage as he does in the studio. Having grown up in NYC, Daniel headlined a variety of venues such as Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, etc. Daniel received his undergraduate degree in Media Writing & Production at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. In his time in Florida, he performed at Wynwood Yard, Yumbrella, Sofar Miami, Sofar Fort Lauderdale, Churchill’s, etc.
In 2019, he had written, produced and mixed two singles, “Out of the Equation” and “Deus Ex Machina.” Later that same year, he co-wrote and sang on “Honey Lemon” with Freaky Pat and Cam Evans. In 2020, he co-wrote and played guitar with Sabel and Reed Gaines on “Eventually.” His most recent single “I’ll Be Patient (If You’ll Be Kind)” was released on May 8, 2020. He also recently wrote the theme music for the Casual Pour podcast.
