Credits include backup vocal designing for international Mandopop artistes (Stefanie Sun, Angela Zhang..), TV theme songs and commercial advertisements. How I work:
- Contact me to brief me on the vision of your project.
- Once the project is active and funded, I will proceed to get started on your project.
- Send me the track, BPM/tempo map, key, lyrics and music references (for working on a demo).
- I will send you an mp3 (roughly mixed) for you to approve.
- Once approved and funds are released, I will make the stems (such as the raw tuned vocals) available.
- Up to 2 revisions/rounds of tweaking allowed. Thereafter, it will be $40/Revision.
- My average turn around time is 1-3 days

Terms of Service:
- Payment is only up to 50% refundable due to time spent
- Vocal files will be sent once the balance is paid in full/funds are released.

Interview with BECKA

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: It’s a 5 part mini series called ‘The Quali-TEA Sessions With BECKA’. I learnt so much and really expanded my skills set. I taught myself how to produce and edit entertaining video content. I was the sole creator and producer of this series and you can check it out at my Instagram @beckaxmusic
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently learning how to use premiere pro.

A: BOTH. Analog for its warmth and digital because it’s revolutionary.

A: That I have the freedom and full control over my time.

A: Doing music as a career must be tough isn’t it. My answer is YES, but it is so rewarding because I am truly passionate about my job.

A: That it’s all fun and exciting always. The truth is I also have good days and bad days like in any other job.

A: I usually ask them for music references so that I can understand their vision better.

A: Phone, macbook pro, guitar, midi keyboard and mic

A: I started out as an intern at a music label and then went on to become a singer songwriter and that has now evolved to me becoming a producer as well.

A: Catchy soul.

A: Tom Misch. Because not only is he an amazing musician, he is also an amazing producer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always be sufficiently prepared before a recording or arranging session so that you can let your creativity flow freely without being distracted by technical hiccups.

A: I usually take some time to listen to the music and digest it well before jumping into getting the job done.

A: I often record vocals for client's songs/demos. I also design and record myself doing background vocal tracks for clients. I am well-versed in vocal editing such as vocal comping and vocal tuning. I am also experienced in music and lyrics writing.

A: I mainly work with Logic Pro and my favourite go to mic would be the Neumann TLM103.

A: Tom Misch , Honne , FKJ , Masego , Jacob Collier are some of the artistes that inspire me.
