My beats have been sampled by Jay Z, Grammy nominated & re-used by Tyler the Creator. I've played on sessions for Decca, Infectious and Universal Records. I've written music with Guy Chambers, Jack Casady, Baby Bam and various others. Having toured the world, some highlights are: Central Park (NYC), Blue Note (Tokyo), Montreal Jazz Fest and more.

Hi, I'm Jai. I drum for Hannah Williams and the Affirmations and have played for Haelos, Willie J Healey, Tanika Charles and lots of others. You'll have heard my drums on Radio1, BBC 6, Rai, NPO 4, KCRW, KEXP and FIP. You might also recognise my drum break from '50 Foot Woman' as the theme tune for the Infiniti 2020 Winter Campaign, or from its' use in 'The Long Way Up', starring Ewan McGregor.

SESSION DRUMS & PERCUSSION
I will record drums for anything you need, to whatever brief you have (or don't have) in mind. I am happy to be as creative or as simple as required; the song always comes first. We will have a session to talk references, and then I will work out the turnaround times and logistics for you.

PROGRAMMING BEATS
Similarly to the above, I will craft a modern, edgy drum sound for anything requiring a more electronic feel. We can work with quicker turnarounds here as there is no recording necessary. I use Logic Pro X.

BESPOKE DRUM BREAKS
I can send you packs of beats for you to chop and change however you want. They'll be tailored to you, and we will chat through what you need at length. This is ideal for those producing any electronic music who want unique breaks.

BEATMAKING
I make Boom Bap, LoFi and Chillhop beats using a mixture of live and electronic sounds. Please contact for specific briefs. Use of any samples will need to be cleared by client.
