Kris Yunker has been rising in the music scene with his very unique style. Wielding pounds of vintage gear everywhere he goes, Kris provides tastefully rich and soulful soundscapes alongside heavy grooves from his left hand bass lines. He is constantly living and breathing music everyday and is infectious, both to listen to and watch on stage. Kris has done studio work for Carriage House Studios, Iron Wax Studios, Vibromonk Studio, Black Rock Studios and worked with numerous artists including Alan Evans of Soulive, Keren Botaro, Mark Sexton, Drew Angus, Frank Sellman, Amee Chapman and so many more. Even though he specializes in Funk, Soul, and Jazz Kris can adapt to all genres of music to provide what is needed for the song.

If there was anyone I could pick to record or tour with for B3, Rhoades or Clav, it would be Kris Yunker. This guy knows exactly how to serve the music and does so with perfect execution. His ears are top notch and his feel and taste with his playing is that of a seasoned pro. The cherry on top is that Kris is one of the coolest and most creative dudes you can work with. He's a great guy and is perfect for any job you throw at him. HE WILL CRUSH IT!

Kris is an outstanding musician and an incredible and kind human. He's my first call for any type of keys work from Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Blues, Funk, Jazz and many more. Kris makes B3 sing like no one else, is a great pianist, a funky Clav player and silky smooth on the Rhodes. In a time when remote session work has become the norm, Kris is incredibly well outfitted in his home studio to record his actual Hammond B3, Rhodes, Clav and additional array of vintage keys. He is also a brilliant arranger and improviser. I can't recommend him enough!
