The bare minimum a mixing engineer should be able to provide is a deep technical understanding of EQ, Compression, Panning, Ambience, etc. In other words, all the fundamentals needed to deliver a powerful mix.

You're not just getting the bare minimum from me!

In addition to being a mixing engineer with a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of mixing… I'm also a multi instrumentalist who has a deep understanding of the music itself, and of all the instruments that make up the song. What makes my mixes unique is that my technical mixing knowledge, and musical knowledge, blend together to create a record that not only sounds great, but feels great too.

When the song calls for it, I'm not afraid to be really heavy handed with edits and sound design. I like to break mixing rules and indulge in the weird and wild! Above all else though, I serve the music and don’t overlook the small details.
