"Professional, emotional and powerful vocals for your project"

Hi musicians! My name is Ant Utama, a singer-songwriter from New Zealand, now living in Cologne, Germany. I release music under my own artist identity but I also love working with talented musicians and producers on other projects.

Whether it's a soft acoustic folk song, a ballad or an upbeat EDM track, I'm able to provide high quality vocals!

Please have a listen through my samples to get a better idea of my vocals.

I am open to all jobs relating to:
- Features & collabs
- Top line vocals (without being credited)
- Lyric writing
- Top line melody writing
- Backing vocals

If you can hear my vocals on your project, please hit me up and I can answer any more questions you may have.

Thanks for stopping by!
Ant

Ant Utama sang and featured on a track I released with MY PARADE called Traveller. He absolutely nailed the session!! His voice made the track into a banger and he was relaxed and super professional to work with. I'd hire him again any day!

I've had the pleasure of recording, mixing, and producing Ant's "Brave" EP. He's an incredibly talented singer with a great range and work ethic. Highly recommended!

Interview with Ant Utama

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I promise to give you my absolute best when working on your project. Any job with my voice on it reflects on me as an artist and therefore, high quality is paramount.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I love that music is a language that connects people from all over the world. We create art together from nothing and I think that is such a powerful thing.

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Shop around this site - there are so many options so take your time and find the voice that you know fits your project. Make sure you are tight with your brief if you have a strict idea of what you want the track to sound like. The tighter and more specific the brief, the easier for us to do our job.

  7. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  8. A: I would love to work with Kygo - I'm a big fan of his unique sound and chill vibes and collaborating with him would be a dream.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: Pop, EDM, Acoustic, Folk, Ballad, Musical Theatre

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: My strongest skill is my vocals. I originally trained classically and have a musical theatre background, however over the last years have focussed on pop. Therefore I have very good pitching which means less work for the producer!

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: I bring my unique vocals which are versatile but also good at capturing the vibe and emotion of the song so it has a bit of depth. I can either give my own artistic interpretation or take strict instructions, whichever works best for the client.

  15. Q: What's your typical work process?

  16. A: The first step is to get the brief and requirements. The more information the better. I can then use it as inspiration while recording. Revisions are available if you require some tweaks.

  17. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  18. A: I have a dedicated home studio setup to record vocals.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: Typically my jobs are for top line and backing vocals. I can also write top line melodies and lyrics for an extra fee.
