Improvising, Jazz influenced violinist. Classically trained at the Academy of London. Performed live and in session work for many artists including Richard Hawley, Newton Faulkner, Peter Gabriel and Smokey Robinson. I love to create solo violin lines or quartet arrangements for singer songwriters. I can record from home in garageband.

I can provide or read dots for string parts, or improvise over an instrumental solo section. I have worked with many singer songwriters over the last 20 years as well as performing as part of touring bands. I have regularly recorded sessions in studios such as Yellow Arch - Sheffield and Real World - Bath. I work independently or with other musicians and love collaborating and creating a specific sound for an artist that suits them and the song.
A full album example of my work with this kind of character in mind is Bitter Ruin - Brighton, 'Waves'. Here I wrote and recorded 4 part harmonies on violin and viola to create a full string section sound.
I am happy to write and record from home and send high quality files using good quality condenser microphones (usually ambient and close).

I'd been hoping to work with Lizz for a number of years after hearing her at a local gig. Finally a project came up! I asked for contributions to three separate sections on a long form progressive rock piece.

Technically: the files I got back were very well recorded, clean, plenty of headroom, & in the format/samplerate requested.
Artistically: just beautiful, exceeded expectations, & will have added a lot to the final track when completed.
Professionally: extremely easy to work with, understood the brief. A small issue was resolved quickly.

Already looking to work with her again.
