Would love to help you by putting a touch of elegance in your Pop, Alt Rock or Indie song with a Classical Guitar lead and some Classical Guitar rhythm.
I have toured regionally in Texas and Louisiana and have produced songs that have made radio play as far away as Australia. I have recorded guitar parts for bands and artists in studios in Austin and Houston. In my home studios, I have excellent 500 series preamps, EQ and compressors, as well as several mics.
Our process starts off by listening to the best version of your song that you have to date. We can then discuss your ideas for how the guitar might fit in - what examples from other songs do you have that I can listen to that convey what you’re going for. I will ask you a few specific questions that will help me understand how to fit the guitar in with the song structure, what kind of fret voicings to use, and possible chord variations from the norm to bring a little bit of distinction to the specific parts of the song if necessary. Once we have these initial discussions, I will get to work recording the tracks in my home studio in either Houston or Zurich. I might try more than one part or voicing style to see which one you like best. I will send you the parts and notes with my thoughts about the parts and why I played them a certain way, which is mostly to convey a mood or help define a message. And hopefully you will love it! If not, we talk about what needs to get it to that place for you and I go back to work and make it happen until you’re satisfied.
