Gonzalo Ramos is a highly experienced sound engineer with over 25 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, specializing in recording, mixing, mastering, and live sound. He graduated with distinction in Sound Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Vicente Pérez Rosales in Santiago, Chile. Throughout his career, he has worked on more than 250 productions in music, film, and television, and has participated in over 500 live shows, including more than 5,000 hours of live television sound.
He is a dual voting member of the Grammy® Awards through NARAS and LARAS, a voter for the NAMM TEC Awards, and a mentor in the Grammy U Mentorship Program. Gonzalo is part of the engineering team at Recorded in Los Angeles, collaborating with renowned producer and engineer Humberto Gatica, and also works as a producer at Dreams Records, a Spain-based company providing global services to music artists.
In addition to his professional work, Gonzalo is deeply committed to education, teaching professional audio, recording, mixing, and film sound through courses and masterclasses. He also interviews leading industry professionals on YouTube and Spotify and writes for Sound:check Magazine. Based in Spain, he works internationally across Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
