Daniel Shadrach Reid on SoundBetter

If you are on a budget an need Rock, Pop, R&B, Rap or Metal guitar work on your music, please message me! I also do mixing and audio engineering so if you need a demo track to be polished or engineering done on your music, I am happy to work with you to create the best track possible!

I am a recent graduate of the Music Industry program at the State University of New York at Oneonta and have 5 years of experience working with ProTools & Reaper in recording and mixing applications.

My professional story this year, like so many others, starts with the current COVID-19 situation in America. Before the outbreak, I was working at two different venues (ShapeShifter Labs and The Cutting Room) as an intern with the prospect of becoming a full-time audio engineer at both. While my time was short at both of these I was able to expand on my audio and lighting knowledge gained from years of volunteering in those positions.

I have been spending my days working on building a social media presence for myself (@shadrachsguitar), and besides my personal journey of improving as a musician and video editor I am finally in a regular schedule of producing online content along with a joint podcast under the name of Sounds Like NYC.

Now I find myself looking again for employment during a very unstable time. I probably could have found a part time job non-related to the creative field a long time ago, but I am a type of person who if I am not working in a field I am passionate about, it’s hell to stay motivated.

I look forward to working with whoever can afford to use my services!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

As much as I wanted to not enjoy working with Daniel, the process was orderly, organized, and professional. On top of that, his mixes always come back balanced and not muddy, and he gives you maximum leeway for revisions. He is very understanding/not offended if you have any criticisms for his mixes. I suggest you look for a real engineer to work with as Daniel. This is a professional marketing himself as a professional.

I suggest you look for a real engineer to work with as Daniel has a lot of learning to do. This is a beginner marketing himself as a professional.
