Songwriter/Producer Team

Supperclub on SoundBetter

We've been a part of Platinum, Grammy-nominated Records and Globally Viral Songs. We've written & produced songs for artists like Dylan Conrique, BANNERS, OCTAVIO the Dweeb, Jon Bryant, Morgan St. Jean, Josie Dunne, etc & our work has been featured in movie trailers, ads, & TV shows like Sweet Tooth, Grey's Anatomy, Shameless, The Good Doctor, etc.

As a producer/songwriter team, we work closely with every artist and client to help turn their creative vision into a reality–whether you're needing a polished radio-ready song, or one that'll end up on a cool indie playlist on Spotify, or somewhere in between.

SE began her career as an audio engineer on Music Row, working with artists like Lori McKenna, Blake Shelton, Jewel, Vince Gill, Ingrid Michaelson, and Dan Tyminski, among others. After transitioning to songwriting and production, she spent time as a staff songwriter for Big Deal Music, writing songs that were placed with artists as well as in TV shows and ads. SE's emphasis on engineering mixed with songwriting makes sure that the heart of the song always shines through in the final product.

Danny comes from a background in a&r / publishing, spending several years at Downtown Music Publishing, where he developed songwriters, artists, and producers, placing numerous songs on major label records with some of the biggest artists in the industry. His ear for songs helps make sure that an artist is putting their best work into the world, and his business savvy helps make sure it rises above the noise.

When it comes to working together, SE is behind the mixing, vocal production, and arranging, while Danny's strengths lie in the foundational elements of drums (live or programmed), guitars, and synths.

Interview with Supperclub

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both - digital is the easiest to start out ideas with and the easiest to fix -- but we've both spent a lot of time working in studios. Out of the two of us, Danny is definitely the one who cares more about gear, synths, guitars, etc...you might say he's a slight gear head : )

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: Indie, Pop, Alternative, and sometimes more organic Folk/Americana.

  5. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  6. A: A deep knowledge of songwriting, production, knowledge of music theory, and an obsession with perfection.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: When an artist comes to us with a song they want us to produce - we first make sure the songwriting is 100% - then we ask and listen. What inspires the artists? What sounds do they hear in the heads? What other artists do they see themselves playing shows with? That guides where the production ends up and we always want to be sure anything we works feels true to the artist, but also breaks new ground in some way.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: We're as comfortable in studios as we are working "in the box" - but these days everything from VST synths, Amp sims, drum samples have gotten so amazing -- I bet you couldn't tell the difference. When we're working with more of a rock band, or organic singer/songwriter - we're always down to pop into a studio in Nashville or Florence to make sure we get things just right.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: Full-song production, mixing, and vocal production
