Music Producer, Beat Maker

Elxjah on SoundBetter

My name is Elxjah (most people call me Eli), I am a producer based from Florida. My sound is heavily based on Hip-hop/Rap.

I will produce any type of beat you request. I mostly specialize in Hip-hop but I also can make R&B and Raggaeton. I offer up to 2 revisions and Turnaround time is typically 3-5 days (sometimes I might even get what you want done same day). Just hit me with your idea and I can make it come to life.

Interview with Elxjah

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: If you want a beat really hard hitting, or want something that just smacks in the car, I'm your guy.

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: MacBook Pro for sure, u obviously need that to make beats. A Mic, audio interface, some cables for the mic and interface, and Studio Headphones.

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: Before making beats, I used to play basketball. I downloaded FL Studio, got hooked on it, and never went back again. I been doing this for 2 years now.

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Dark and Hype. To emphasize on that, I make beats that have a dark feel to them but once the drums kick in, that beat turns into something lit, something really fire.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: My number one artist I would love to work with is Baby Keem. The industry does not deserve that man. He's one of the most versatile artists right now, he has too many variations of flows and his voice tone just fits so perfectly with the beats.

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Hip-Hop 80% of the time....but sometimes I work on Pop, R&B, and Raggaeton joints.

  13. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  14. A: Producing is for sure my strongest.

  15. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  16. A: Pretty much the production aspect of it.

  17. Q: What's your typical work process?

  18. A: As soon as I get on FL, I start looking through loops and see which one is the one that inspires me. Once I get that inspiration, I cook up some beats.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: I am heavily inspired by Pyrex Whippa, Redda, Wheezy, Rio Leyva, and of course all my producer friends,

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: I do mostly hip-hop and rap beats for the people I work with,
