Gabriel Shalom on SoundBetter

I'm a musician who learned mix and audio in Instituto de Áudio e Vídeo (Audio and Video Institute)/IAV, the best known audio school in Brazil. I usually produce and mix my own songs in my studio in São Paulo, and I like do edit and mix some podcasts and audio movies. In the audiovisual, I also work with the audio direction and record.

I'm musician since 2009 and work with audio and video since 2018, with digital and analog record, podcast edition and mixing/mastering. My specialization is the mixing in the music, and my biggest sound inspiration are the 70's, 80's and 90's brazilian albuns of popular music, from artists like Gilberto Gil (produced by Liminha) or Djavan (mixed by Franklin Garrido).

I usually work at home, using Logic X and techniques to raise the sound to the most professional level, cleaning the audios and all the instruments, polishing each one with the best of the analog song and plugins inside a DAW, like SSL's and analog tube EQ's.

The mastering process is included as well, once the client send me all the song to mix, compressing and finishing the song with the right levels. The timbres, automations and other agreements are informed by the client (and suggested by me, if you want)
