Music Producer & Guitarist

UndaSkore on SoundBetter

A multi-instrumentalist producer in urban, electronic and experimental genres.

I've been producing music for over 13 years in various genres, also releasing music as an artist. I specialise in creating emotion and telling stories through sound, combining classic instruments like the guitar with modern electronic and experimental ideas. I can produce full tracks from initial idea all the way to master, as well as contribute specific parts such as guitar layers, piano layers, drum programming, or vocal mixing.

Interview with UndaSkore

  1. Q: How would you describe your style?

  2. A: I consider my style to be very cinematic, I always try to imagine hearing my music in a movie or TV scene, so it has the ability to make people tap into different feelings and emotions.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: I would love to work with Central Cee as I believe his consistency and the vibe he has in his music matches the energy that I try to create.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: My 1 production tip would be to think outside the box and not stick to rules. When creating drums or melodies, we tend to be constricted by the lessons we've been taught but I find the best music is made when you break the rules.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: I usually work on hip hop and drill, usually based in UK styles like D Block Europe, M Huncho and Central Cee, to create a very vibey London type of sound.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: My usual process when creating beats from scratch is to start off with a melody which will be the main idea that the song is created around, this will be consist of a chord progression and a lead melody, along with other melodic sounds to create the general vibe. From there I add drums and begin to flesh out the track.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: My most common work is creating beats for rappers/singers, either they send me their vocals first (acapella) and I construct a beat around this, or I create a beat based on a brief of what is required by the artist, and then send to them. Sometimes they will send vocals back after for me to mix for them too.
