Session Pianist, Producer

Certified Multi-Platinum Session Musician and Co-Producer. A composer who uses the piano as his means of artistic creation. Passionate about the rhythms of the world and bold harmonies of contemporary music, he combines electronic effects.

Bernardo Cruz is involved in sessions with producers and artists from all musical records, always putting a piece of himself in what he does where he stands out: Lhast, Diogo Piçarra, Richie Campbell, Tay, Anselmo Ralph, Bispo, Slowj, Profjam, Plutonio, Valas, Wet bed Gang, Fumaxa.
Live currently works with Dillaz and as musical director of Julinho KSD and his group Instinto26.
He was involved with the fado (Ruca Fernandes) where he studied traditional culture and afrobeat (They Must be Crazy). Never disconnecting from electronic music (NERY) neither with the songs sung in Portuguese (Janeiro), nor with the worldmusic and reggae rhythms (Wooden Arm Tree), jazz fusion (Plexus) and ending in rock (DEUSA).
His artistic growth is largely due to the fact that he is self-taught, highlighting the interest from jazz to Indian music, as well as Afro-Latin rhythms alongside the Mechanical Engineering academic path. Over time some of his aspirations include jazz musicians but also modern music like Robert Glasper, Jason Linder, James Blake and BBNG, but also producers like Glenn Astro , Tsuruda but also Metroboomie among others.
