Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A combination of both is best. It all depends how the song is intended to sound.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: We love playing with compressors.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Clients often ask us what we can provide that AI mastering cannot... We have the ability to express the artistic vision of the song where and AI master can only raise the volume (frequently very poorly).
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Teig & Marcus, the founders of DIFFUSION have a combined 16+ years of experience. We started DIFFUSION as a way to help our artist friends sound better and it has flourished into our full time love and occupation.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Our style is client tailored. One thing that sets us apart from other studios is our adaptiveness. We don't have a specific sound so much as we have a specific standard. With this we ensure the clients vision remains as intack as possible.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: We've already had the opportunity to work with many of the artists we set out dreaming to work with, however we will still love the opportunity to work with Calvin Harris.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Nothing beats starting a track with good samples and synthesis to begin with. When the ingredients are high quality and you have the right chef, the meal is sure to be delicious.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Outside of our mixing and mastering prowess, our strongest skills are our communication skills. We are excellent at capturing the artists intended vision for their music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: DIFFUSION brings clarity, grit, and excitement to any mix.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to song and provide feedback before work begins. Work on the service for a maximum of 5 working days. Provide a version 1 and accommodate edits if necessary. Provide any additional cuts/mixes at no extra charge.

A: Dedicated and treated studio with Barefoot and Neumann near fields. Apogee Symphony MK II Interface.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: In depth Mixing and Mastering.
