Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Tien Chong was an artist I signed straight out of school at the end of 2014, we developed her for 3 years and managed to make her a household name in China by Jan 2018. Hard work, proper artist development, and a great album sealed it. I was her Manager, Producer, songwriter, and Mix Engineer.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Working with amazing girl group called H3rizon based in Sydney, Working on an EP for an rising Hip Hop artist in China called Blow Fever based in Shanghai, and working with a new artist called Heavenly based in LA
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both warmth and depth or analogy, clarity and precision of digital
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will deliver the best
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it is easy
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Check there credits, and make sure to hear some of their recent work. If you can get on a phone call and talk to them to make sure your work style and ethic are matched
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 24 years in the biz, worked in London, NY, Stockholm and now Hong Kong.

A: Eclectic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Bruno Mars.. range, talent,
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: You can't polish dog poo.. If the production is terrible no matter how good a mix engineer you hire it is not going to sound as good as it should.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: A whole range of pop, rnb, hip hop, funk, soul, electro.. A very diverse range of genres
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to make sure the song truly represents the artists vision, but also try to make sure there are unique and interesting elements to the music that will make it stick out from the crowd
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is now mainly in the box but with a good selection of mics and preamps. We have the capability to record a full live band as well
