Zoe Gabrielle is an innovative and new-age pop/indie combo in the blazing Chicago music scene who demonstrates diversity in her storytelling and lyric ability. Based in Chicago, IL, coming from Omaha, Nebraska, Zoe considers herself to be a crossover artist influenced by Indie and Pop, Fans of Zoe gravitate towards her honest lyrics and the way she resonates with her listeners. Her writing may range from heartbreak to falling in love, to anguish, to experiences she has had in her own life. No matter what, the singer/songwriter strives to speak through her music on a personal level.

I specialize in vocals, songwriting, and opens. All songs via SoundCloud below are self-written and vocally produced. All projects will be shared via social media, possible blogs, venues, and press with the consent of collaborators.

Interview with Zoe Gabrielle

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a portable studio setup to record anywhere I want. This includes a Windows laptop, an Alctron CM6 condenser mic, and the Moto M2 audio interface. I use Sony headphones and Ableton for my DAW.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: It changes from time to time. Though, I am not a vocal engineer/mixer Kevin Parker's work has always inspired me. On top of this, Leroy Clampitt and One Love also inspire me. Vocally, I love replicating Beyonce and Finneas/Billie's recording process (while of course still staying authentic to myself).
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically I provide verses/features for another artist or lay down vocals for DJs/house producers. Usually for both of these things, I offer vocals and lyrics as well but at times, lyrics are already provided to me by the client. However, this doesn't mean I'm not open to strictly writing for another artist.
