I collect instruments from around the world; from different cultures. In my high-tech studio I'm surrounded by over 70 types of bamboo flutes, hang drums, bowls, gongs, all types of percussion, various stringed instruments, all at my disposal for creating cinematic and evocative soundscapes. I release my music under artist Aroshanti.

In the beginning there was sound.

Aroshanti, ‘a moment of bright inner peace’, is the pen name I use for my Relaxation and Meditation music. I’m Nick Truch, a composer and music producer based in the English Lake District, where I find an endless source of inspiration from the nature and scenic views that surround my home and studio.

I’ve travelled around the world and collected instruments from many different cultures. You’ll hear these in the music and the atmospheric soundscapes that I create to help you Relax, Heal, Energise and Sleep.
