House Producer and Remixer.

I make old-school house music the original way; analog synths, multitrack tape, crunchy samplers and a love for the dancefloor. Influences go way beyond house music itself, latin, dub reggae, electronic pop, disco, punk, high life, salsa, bossa nova and, of course, jazz.

Producer, remixer, studio owner, engineer, sound designer, DJ (if pushed), educator. We use all the original classic synths from the early years of house. Not the most expensive stuff, but the stuff that was REALLY used to make all those classic tracks, We're midi-based, we have an amazing 48ch CADAC desk (the poor man's Neve, sounds just as good). We have some choice pieces of classic outboard. Full set of Lexicon units, Eventide H3000, 1176s, the usual but we don't over use them because they weren't too common back in the bedroom era. We make stuff that sounds real, not clinical or digital. We do work with Logic and Ableton too, we have the full set of UAD plugins. Synths are Roland, Yamaha, Waldorf, Kawai, a big modular. All the usual suspects and some weird stuff too.

Our studio is set at the top of an extinct volcano in Northern Catalonia. Splendid isolation, the perfect writing environment. No distractions, just peace, space and tectonic vibrations. Come and visit first if you like, it's the most beautiful location in the world.
