Abby Warner

Singer-songwriter + producer

Abby Warner on SoundBetter

I'm mainly a singer-songwriter. I record, produce and release my own music with one of my songs gaining interest from BBC Breakfast, Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch as well as national newspapers and local news. I also play several instruments and over the past couple of years have started producing music as well.

I'm still fairly new to this whole music industry thing. Despite, playing music and singing for basically all of my life, I only started songwriting 3 years ago and have been producing music for 2 years. I'm still trying to build up my portfolio and build up my freelance work, so I will of course offer discounted prices. I would love to work with you! :)

Interview with Abby Warner

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I'm currently working on my debut EP as a solo artist and producing some tracks for different people.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: Feel free to ask loads of questions. I want to make sure that you're happy with what's going on and that we can stand working with each other!

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: My acoustic guitar, a piano and preferably a laptop, if that's not cheating! That's all I need really!

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Learn your DAW. Literally just press everything and see what it does. Cause especially with logic, there's loads of features they're just hidden for some reason!

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: My studio setup is just a super simple home studio set up but sometimes that's all you need.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: There's loads! I think Ed Sheeran's lyrics and song-songwriting is amazing! And as producers I love AJR, Jon Bellion and Finneas. But seriously I could go on forever!
