Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I just released my first single, "Whenever You Want Me," from my upcoming EP. I wrote it, sang all the vox on it & think it sounds kinda sexxiii

A: An EP

A: Alaina Cross & Trella are my GIRLS. Killer vocalists, most enjoyable humans to work with.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital cause I don't know anything about analog
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll give you my best!

A: Getting to make my own schedule, getting to decide who I work with and what I create.

A: I haven't been asked anything yet!! :)

A: That it's easy

A: Trust your gut :)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Shure SM7-B, a guitar, some drums, iMac, UA Apollo Twin
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started singing on stages since I was 10. Starting writing shitty songs at 14 and never stopped. I've gotten to do BV's & guitars for artists, touring internationally, sang in church, I shot my shot on The Voice, I helped start major-label-signed groups, had a bunch of songs on TV/Film... most of it while being an Indie artist! I love being independent. I love my career growing and evolving in all sorts of ways through the years. There are no rules, baby!!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm kind of a chameleon... I vibe in many different genres. I'm a sucker for a good Pop song, love Ambient Rock undertones, gotta put Soul on everything.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ahhh so many. I would die on the spot to work with Coldplay, H.E.R, Billie Eilish, Brandi Carlile, Jazmine Sullivan, Alicia Keys, The Killers, Dua Lipa, Solange, Maren Morris, Fletcher......should I keep going or?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your intuitive ear when creating. Don't worry about comparing or trying to sound like someone else. Get all that stuff out of your way so you can hear what you're really hearing, deep inside yourself.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, TV/Film, Ambient, Pop Rock, Soul
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think it's the ability to hear unique melody & rhythmically fit any amount of lyric into a space :)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Melody, emotion
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depends on the project! I'm pretty quick
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of Logic but am also Pro Tools savvy. I record most pop vocals out of my Shure SM7-B. I've also got a killer tube mic for the songs that need a little more of a fuller, more upfront vocal.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Producers are super inspiring. To be able to hear the arrangements & make them happen from start to finish - y'all are brilliant!
