Indian rhythms and Konnakol

Percussionist, specialising in Indian Classical Music (Carnatic). Been a part of Oscar winning RRR. I play Mridangam, Khanjira, and other traditional percussions and also recite KONNAKOL. I also work as a composer, arranger, programmer and rhythm producer. I am also a trained classical singer

I'm a live musician and a session artist and have been touring globally, collaborating with many eminent musicians since 2009. My training in Carnatic percussion (Mridangam) and Konnakol has enabled me to understand and adapt to different genres of music. My collaborations have been with World, Folk, Jazz, Electronic, Afro and Hindustani music and I have performed over 400 concerts around the world. I also work for Indian movies as a percussionist, composer and arranger

My setup - Mridangam, Khanjira, Ghatam, Udu, Pandero Cuadrado, Cajon, Udukka, Darbuka, Pakhawaj, Bongos, Octasnare & other percussions (world and ethnic collections)

I also record creatively and produce rhythm, based on requirements - includes recording foleys and tracking interesting instruments or objects.

I've conducted masterclass for Berklee Valencia and Taller de Musics, Barcelona and have recorded tutorial videos for Berklee India Ensemble
