Current singer with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I give you the real deal complete with doubles, stacks, ad libs, harmonies, and edited/tuned vocals.
I currently sing with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but sang with a Top 40s band prior to that. So, whether you're looking for the retro, throwback sound or the modern pop sound, I've got you! I have a 3+ octave range, and have been vocal arranging for a decade.
I'm proficient in Melodyne, and will deliver tuned vocals without pops/clicks (or any other bad editing)
I keep my voice in tip top shape at all times, so that I can sing at any given moment.
I offer quick and efficient turnaround for your projects, and always bring my A-game.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

I have worked with Joseph as a fellow cast member singing acappella and he is always accurate while still being musical. This past year I was able to hire him to make guide vocals tracks for my students as they navigated virtual performance projects during the pandemic. Clean sound, note perfect, with fast turn around.
He even arranged and Music Directed a show choir number for my college age students and it turned out to be fantastic.
Easygoing, quick, and accurate!
Interview with Joseph Ott
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A track that I top-lined for called "Personal." It was such a fun process to write from the perspective of a deeply flawed individual who can be perceived as the villain of the story.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I love clarity. If you are clear on your vision for your track, it gives me the freedom to work within that framework and not second guess my instincts.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a session singer and top liner over a decade, and I've been singing with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons for the last 4 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Honest, Playful, and Throwback
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy, Attitude, and Vocal Grit.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a simple, easy to use home studio. It consists of me, my computer, a mic, and a vocal booth.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "How quickly can you get this done?" -Within a week (oftentimes much sooner).
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Each project will receive my full attention to detail and creative spirit. I always bring my best.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I only sing Pop music. My first love is actually Rock (especially 80s Hair Rock). I also trained as an actor and love singing show tunes.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your deadline? What artist/song and vibe are you going for? What medium is the project for? (sync, demo, release)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: -Listen to digest the mood of the track -Experiment and play til it feels right -Check in with the producer to make sure we're on the same wavelength and the vocals have the feel they're looking for. -Layer harmonies, doubles, stacks, background vocals, and adlibs -Tune/Edit

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Bruno Mars. His old school funky style takes me back to my earliest influences while still sounding modern and fresh.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting to collaborate with so many different artists on brand new projects.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Air Apollo Twin Slate VMS Mic Fender Strat Akai MPK249
