Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is located in Wedel next to Hamburg in a bunker. Here you can lose the awareness of place and time and be fully focused on the creative process. You can be as loud as you want arround the clock and have no time limits. I run a Windows PC with Cubase 11 as DAW. The room is about 22 square meters and is acoustically optimized. Usually I do vocal recordings or single instruments in the same room. This increases the communication, the connection and the workflow between the interpreter and me.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by electronic producers like Armin van Buren, Neelix, Astrix, Fabio Fusco, Vini Vici, Phaxe, Boris Brejcha and many more. In the Hip Hop/Rap genre I like the german artists Luciano, Summer Cem, Apache 207, Marteria, Sido, SSIO and Haftbefehl. Also International artists like Drake. The music producers who have inspired and accompanied me the most are Scott Storch, Dr Dre, Timbaland, Dieter Bohlen, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Miksu & Macloud, Juh-Dee, Beatzarre & Djorkaeff and many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I like to work with my clients in person. So I love recording sessions, because you get to know each other very well. You can feel the music and it's emotions together and capture this moment for others. That's what I love about music. Capture emotions and live through them again whenever you want to.
