Producer, Remote Mix Engineer

Overgrown is a project of love that was born out of my own frustration with expensive, sterile production studios. As a singer-songwriter myself, my priority is listening carefully to what's at the heart of your song and what message you want to send through your work, and then using my experience to bring that to life in production.

I am a producer and mix engineer based in the cosy 'Bank Studio' Sydney. I have a Diploma in Music performance at JMC Academy where I majored in voice with electives in audio engineering and production.

I'm a Sydney-based artist and I've been through a bunch of studios with different mix engineers, producers and expensive gear and would often find that while the end product was at a "professional standard" it wasn't always what I imagined my song would be. I would walk away with an empty wallet and what felt like someone else's song.

At Overgrown I provide the time and space for you to put your heart and soul into your music. I know when I'm creating music, most of the real magic happens when I'm writing alone in my bedroom away from the pressures of performing in a big studio. Great music doesn't just happen under pressure - it takes time and an environment that you can open up in. At overgrown my aim is to create a space that feels like your own and provide musical direction and creative input where needed.

This means you can come with a complete vision of your next song, or you can bounce your ideas and lyrics off me. I love to take a hands-on collaborative approach, but if you're already a super confident songwriter and recording artist, I am also happy to follow your lead and help mix the song the way you like it.
