I approach making records with the utmost respect, empathy and appreciation for the artist, coming from a songwriting and musician background myself. I understand how tough it can be to fund your own project, and to trust your work with someone, so I really work to try and help shape the record you want to make at a price-point that you can afford.

I started making records for my own band in high-school and began making them for friends as well. Eventually, my love of the recording and mixing process led me down the road of pursuing it professionally. I've since been a part of tons of records as an engineer, producer, mixer, session drummer and bass player, and even mastered a good handful or two.

I have a mixing and overdub suite with Pro Tools, outboard pre-amps, Mackie H824 monitors, and a full suite of plug-ins from Universal Audio, SoundToys, Waves, Celemony, FabFilter, Izotope and more.

I also do more in depth full band recording and drum session work out of Compound Recording in Ben Lomond, CA. We have a fully functional studio which should meet most all of your needs, tucked away and looking right over the beautiful San Lorenzo Valley river.

I worked with Henry on the first recordings I’d ever made of my songs - an EP. It was my first venture as a songwriter and he really helped me to nail down exactly what I was going for musically. It was such a great experience that I decided to make my first full length album with him. He engineered, mixed, mastered AND played multiple instruments on it! Henry is absolutely amazing! Every song that I have released and I’m planning on releasing has been engineered by him. He is patient and understanding. He takes notes graciously and can interpret even the most random of quotes “raise that about 5%, there’s like a weird sound at timestamp :00, can you make it feel a little more blue?”

He has mixed even my demos and people can’t even believe those are just the demos.

He’s great with vocal tuning as he tends to air on the not overly done side. I 100% recommended him and will be sticking with him till I die ha
