I love bringing the little extra to your music by catching the energy and soul of your song. Especially in times, where most producers use programmed drums, having an acoustic drumset brings back the life into the music!

An always miced up drumset allows me to record at all times, no matter if you require classic grooves or innovative beats. I own a selection of high class drumkits and shell sizes to suit different genres of music, topped with a variety of cymbals from all major brands. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Being attentive to the song and not over playing on a recording unless asked. It's not a drumcontest :)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Working closely with an artist/producer to get the best out of their requirements and getting creative. It's all about catching the energy and soul of a song/artist and transform it into some authentic and characterful drums. I also like the aspect of going meaningful (which some would refer to as minimal).
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: In my eyes, the sound makes already 50% of a great song, thus the drumsound must be chosen wisely, too! This will enable to maintain the integrity of the recorded drum part through post-production and mixing, by not having to replace the drums with triggered sounds.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Dedication! Others call it perfection. I love working on the details and bringing the song to life
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Feel, Musicality and attention to detail with capturing the sound the artist is after
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First, getting an idea on the energy and sound of the song to discuss the sonic possibilities for the drumsound with the client. Afterwards, i need to setup the drums and mics for this dedicated sound. Great recordings start with the source! This is, why the initial decision must be taken wisely to avoid the need of replacing drumparts with triggered sounds in post-production. Finally, the real fun part begins with recording different takes and sending back-and-forth demos to the client :)
