Jake Carmona is a Grammy nominee, Latin Grammy winner multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, recording and mixing engineer with more than 20 years experience. Not to mention he’s one of the most skilled audio editors in the world.
His expertise covers a wide range of genres including Mariachi, Tejano-Norteño, Urban, Salsa, Pop, Alternative Rock, Metal, Country, Folk, Hip Hop, R&B, and Jazz.
Jake Carmona is the chief recording and mixing engineer at Lazy Eye Records, a production company owned by singer/songwriter Colin Hay (Men At Work) as well as Magnifico Studio, owned by legendary percussionist Luis Conte.
He has worked with a variety of artists from both the Latin and American music industry including, Nadia, Costumbre, Alica Villarreal, División Minúscula, Insite, Los Claxons, Clemente Castillo, The Warning, Mind Cinema, Thomas Lang, Andy Grammer, Greg Bissonette, Cecilia Noël, Luis Conte, Brenda Russell, Pat Metheny & Colin Hay.
