5 ReviewsEndorse Leo Lauretti
I have known Leo for quite a while now, and he has been an incredible help with both feedback, mixing and mastering and is now a good friend of mine. My debut release, a remix for the label Emergent Cities, was mixed and mastered by Leo and I was mightily impressed by his work. I've also had an unreleased song of mine stem mastered by Leo and this was also a quality service. I'd definitely recommend working with him, and he has the knowledge and experience needed to produce great results. I'd definitely recommend working with him.
Leo is a fantastic engineer with a real flair for understanding how to bring the best out of my productions. His feedback is precisely detailed and is quick to offer alternative suggestions to improve mixing.
There were several projects we worked on together that stretched me as a new producer to get my sounds to a very professional level, taking care to really focus on what is important mix-wise to deliver tracks to a very high standard.
I'd also like to highly recommend Leo for his amazing mastering skills as recent work has left me extremely satisfied with the results.
Leo listens to what you believe your production skills are lacking, and then collaboratively works in creating a style of teaching that makes sense for quick implementation of the techniques into your every day work flow. It makes it easy to understand what he's trying to show you, and how it can immediately help improve your sounds. It really is a pleasure to work with him, and it really is together that you help your music production skills.
Leo Lauretti is brilliant at what he does, a talented individual who has produced and released many top quality tracks, music tutorials and much more. He's worked with top Labels and helped many of his students reach higher levels than before. Just by going on his Youtube, you can see how creative he is with his sound design and makes it seem so easy, even for a beginner, whilst refering to other top end producers such as RUFUS DU SOL for inspiration.
Leo is an incredible engineer, sound designer, and producer. I've worked closely with Leo on several projects and have used him as a mixing/mastering engineer for my own productions. His attention to detail is one of a kind, highly recommend working with him.
Interview with Leo Lauretti
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We're going to get this done!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All genres within Electronic Music
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'll bring whatever you need. From music production to fixing your project to teaching concepts and applying them to your project, I've worked in multiple ways with my clients to better their songs.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Normally I start by understanding what the client wants, his references, his inspirations. Then, I can understand where I need to go with my class, mix & master, or whatever service he hires me to do. This is the most important part because I need to understand the elements I'm able to use, the genre, the arrangement, the composition, etc. After this initial process, we go straight to the service hired to deliver it the best way possible. While on the job, I do check-ups to make sure I'm heading the right direction and, ultimately, deliver the service.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is all inside the box. I don't have analog gear and I love working with plugins from Fabfilter, Serum, Oeksound and iZotope
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: 1on1 Classes, Mix & Master Services, Fix your project services (I go inside your project and fix it), Ghost Production, Sound Design for Companies (Splice, Freshly Squeezed)
