B.KELS on SoundBetter

Visual artist with a niche in visual-music animation, simple loops, morphs and textural illustrations. I'm drawn to the emotional and temporal qualities in music that connect to images and the way images can open up the sonic experience & vice versa.

Hi, I'm Kelsey! I've worked with clients who are open to my creative direction + want help achieving their vision. I've produced album artwork, graphics, and animated music videos for independent musicians who want to grow and push their visual presence. I love to create dynamic work that engages viewers & helps listeners hear subtle instrumentation that would be more difficult to capture without a visual representation. My approach enhances the experiential essence of your music, whether its a full length video or a looping clip, I work with musicians to guide listeners through their sonic realm.

My versatility is reflected through analog and digital treatments: from gritty abstract painterly textures to smooth geometric shapes in motion design, minimal lines, chaotic collages, color palettes that enhance your vibe, & cool animated overlays combined with film/live footage. I prioritize communication with the musician on my process and development, sharing rough sketches, & work-in-progress before finalizing the work.

I support artists who deeply care about their music, its potential, & want to lift their work more with some visual sauce!
